Alan Weibel

I have spent about twenty years designing and building software, mostly at the point where design systems, developer experience and enterprise platforms meet. These days most of that work involves agents in some form.

I run PrimeCo, a small studio doing software design and engineering, AI integration, and the slower work of helping companies that were not built around agents figure out where agents actually belong. I also lead design and AI work at one of the world's largest enterprise software platforms.

Project work over the years has spanned Google, Disney, Nike, Visa, LinkedIn and Adobe. Earlier in my career I was at Apttus and Axcient.

I started this site because the advice in this area is sold with far more confidence than the evidence supports, and I wanted somewhere to write down what actually holds up. Where the evidence has gone against something I previously recommended, I say so on the page rather than quietly editing it out.

This site argues that a credential you cannot verify is not a credential. So here is what is checkable, and what is not.

Twenty years of practice is not a credential, and neither is a list of well-known company names. Both are context. The patents are the part with a public record behind them, which is why they are the only item above with a link to go and look.
